Poole Rally

Following the success of previous year’s rallies to the Parkstone Yacht Club and by popular request, the Association has decided to repeat the event again this year.

The Parkstone Yacht Haven is well sheltered and accessible at all states of the tide, berthing fees are reasonable with a special Rally Rate arranged and shore power is usually available. All visitors are entitled to use the Yacht Club facilities for the duration of their stay. Good reasonably priced meals and drinks are available at midday and in the evenings. The excellent bar and dining room enjoy a superb view over Poole Harbour. There are plenty of other interesting activities such as meeting up with your old friends, a pleasant walk takes you into the old town of Poole with lots of shops and places of interest to look around or you can even take a ferry boat ride to Brownsea Island.

On the Saturday evening we propose to meet up for drinks on the Yacht Club Veranda at 18.00hrs. [Inside in case of cold or rain] followed by a meal in the Yacht Club at19.30hrs. Val & Brian Bower will be on “Florida Girl” [Berth C3] for most of the day as a meeting point for old and new friends.

The club requires that meals are ordered and paid for in advance and berths will be reserved as in previous years. If you are able to attend please complete the entry form below as soon as possible and forward to Brian with your cheque made out to Parkstone Yacht Club.

Latest date for cancellation [and return of meal cheque] will be the evening of Thursday 28th.

If for any reason you cannot turn up please let us know, the Club is short of visitor berths and your berth can be let to another boat.
