Newtown Creek

This informal meet will take place on Saturday 2nd July.

I know that this clashes a bit with the IFOS week but high water is 21.37BST which gives us a good window to get up to Shalfleet and back in the evening without having to rush.. This is just about the only Saturday in the peak of season where we can get this window (true – check your tables, it surprised me!). As the last IFOS equivalent happened 200 years ago – I don’t know whether or not there will be a squeeze for moorings in Newtown, so we will have to see… can always anchor outside.

As we all had such a good time up at the New Inn last year – I have booked the venue again. I do have a menu which I may tinker with so I will not include it today. If you would like to come and join the crowd for dinner then please just ping me a note to say “we’ll be there” and I’ll send you the menu choices. There is a finite capacity to the New Inn (about 30 people) so the sooner you let me know the better – Thanks.
