Fair weather for Rally at Poole 2004

Thanks again to Brian and Val Bower

This popular rally is often the first in the season for those  who are geared to a later start to their season than the good and the brave who made it to Bembridge.

It was good to have Reid Graeber with us from Luhrs Marine who came along before Dinner to mingle, gain feedback and offer news and advice.  It was good to see  Mrs Graeber proudly showing off Madison (3 months) attending her first LOA function with big (2 years) brother also joining the party.  Talking of children, poor Louise Drake gave herself and her parents a major fright by slipping and collecting a mega-bruise on her forehead that involved a 3 hour visit to Casualty.  They made it back in time for a late Dinner and the following day she was seemingly unaffected by the experience.

The photos show a mix of familiar and less familiar faces and as ever, there was much chat about the merits of the Legend range, tips on all manner of topics and  some hilarious stories to spice the brew.

Reid let slip a few bits of "Coming Shortly" information which will find their way on to the site and in Wavelines in due course.

Don Alexander responded to Brian's speech of welcome by expressing the warm appreciation of the company for the work that he and Val put into this most enjoyable occasion.

Those who attended the Poole Rally 04

Dear All,

What fantastic weather we had last weekend! - the LOA rally to Poole was well supported - I now think that the view from the Parkstone Yacht Club across the harbour is amongst the top spectacles in the UK!!. Many thanks to Brian Bower for organising the event and also to the crew of the yacht club who made us feel very welcome.
