Cockpit Arch-mounted davits

A contributor to
the Discussion Area was asking for comments on the feasibility of creating
arch-mounted davits. A quick check with Reid Graeber of Luhrs Marine
produced these photographs of their davits marketed on the Legend 41. Reid said, "Hunter Marine now offers a davit option on its 41 and 44 models - both integrate with the existing cockpit arch. Photos attached (click on the adjacent thumbnails to see larger versions). We're not in a position to comment or advise on owner modifications to arches to integrate davit systems of their own design, however. Nice to hear from you!
